At the 2008 Annual Conference of the Christian Mission Fellowship International, approximately 40 new missionaries were commissioned. To date more than 8 missionaries have departed Fiji for their assigned mission fields. These countries are namely: Thailand, England, New Zealand, Yap, Pitcairn, Western Samoa, Vanuatu, Palau, Guam, Tuvalu, Northern Marianas, Kiribati, Tokelau, Niue, Wallis & Futuna, Hawaii, Marshall Islands & American Samoa. Not forgetting,Kenya & Rwanda. This list does not include other countries where our missionaries are already involved in!
The commissioning of our missionaries only brings to fruition and fulfillment Jesus command in Matthew 28:18-22:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
